My name is Christina Diewold and I am returning for my fourth year as the Head Coach of the Mission Marlins Swim Club. I am an NCCP certified Level 1 competitive swim coach and a certified Lifeguard/Red-Cross instructor. With additional experience as Head Coach of Mission’s Special Olympics Swimming program I also have NCCP certifications with the SOBC organization.

I have been a member of the Mission Marlins for 16 years, 7 of which have been spent coaching. I hold multiple records at the regional and provincial level, hold the most best-ever club records, and I was the fastest female 50m freestyle swimmer at the BCSSA provincial level for three consecutive years. I competed at this level from the age of 7 where I earned a total of 33 provincial medals, along with many other personal goals achieved within the club.

I will be returning to my third year of university studies in the fall of 2017 to obtain a business degree with a minor in kinesiology.

I am looking forward to another fun-filled summer at the pool not only helping the athletes succeed in achieving their personal goals, but also creating life-long memories.
